RESPONSIBILITIES: • Clerical:Filing/Light Accounting • Light housekeeping • Kitchen prep • Prep lunch • Participate in community outings • Maintain and comply with all applicable state and county licensing requirements QUALIFICATIONS: • At least 21 years of age.

References: We do check references and we will need written references in your file after you have been hired. Please do not call or send attachments. Since we are a non-profit agency, and very small, we ask that you think carefully about the hours. The monetary and training commitment on our part is great and we need someone who is willing to get here punctually at 9AM.

Morning Aide-Berkeley
At Hergl Center, our mission is to provide quality care for adults with severe developmental disabilities.
We are a well-respected residential and day program located in North Berkeley, serving the needs of adults with developmental disabilities since 1983.
Immediate opening for mature, punctual, dependable individual, who is able to multi-task.
You will need to be in good physical condition. This is a support position. No previous experience required. We will train you. Great position for students.
Please do not reply if you are in need of a full-time position. $10.50 hourly, non-negotiable
We have an immediate opening for serious hard working individual. Must work Monday - Friday: 9-11:30 AM.
• Ability to excel as a member of a team
• Citizen or work papers $10.50/hr Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement, depending on nature and length of experience. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity, good judgment and emotional stability. Upon receipt of a job offer and before commencement of employment, must submit to a fingerprint check and health screening exam in order to obtain clearance from the State Dept. of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. Valid California driver's license and insurability under the agency's auto insurance policies are preferred. Employment is contingent upon meeting the above minimum qualifications.
We will pay for the following requirements upon hire:
